Welcome

Welcome to the 7C Science web page at Fremont Middle School for the 2015-2016 school year. We will study a variety of science topics. Topics include: the atmosphere and weather, sound and light, cells, heredity, and how science asks and answers questions.

Use this page for periodic updates on what we are doing, information on class projects, and to get to online reviews for tests and quizzes.

Weather and Climate

The second unit for 7C Science will cover weather and climate.
Here's some of what we will be studying:
  • What makes up the atmosphere and how air pressure and temperature change in the different layers?
  • How solar energy hits the earth and how the tilt of the earth makes a difference.
  • Explaining how air pressure and wind are related
  • What is humidity?
  • The types of fronts and how they cause weather change
  • The types of tools used to observe, measure, and predict the weather
